Oral Presentation Guidelines

Presentation Time: Each paper has 25 minutes including time for discussion.
Equipment: In each session room, we prepare a video projector.

Poster Session Guidelines

1. Poster Boards Size (board is provided by the workshop)
W900mm x H2100mm
The size of your poster can be up to A0 (841mm x 1189mm.)
On the top left corner of your poster reserve a space 10 cm (4 inches) wide x 10 cm (4 inches) high for the poster number provided by IWIC2007 staff. This number will also be identified in the program, so attendees that have an interest in your poster can easily find it.
It is your responsibility to include the author's name(s), affiliation(s) and the poster title at the top of the poster presentation.


NOTES
The organizers will make every effort to ensure the security of the display areas during the poster session.
However, we do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to posters, equipment, devices, demonstrations, computers or any other items that you bring to this event. Please follow these simple recommendations:
Do not leave valuables unattended at any time.
Please take high value items such as laptop computers or prototype devices with you when you are not at your poster.

Demonstration Guidelines

1-2. Table
Size: W1800mmxD600mmxH700mm
Each poster board has a table directly in front of it.
This table is intended to allow distribution of copies of the poster, business cards and other literatures.
It also facilitates demonstrations of handheld devices and can hold a laptop computer. The table is not suitable for heavy equipment ( >10kg).


2. Outlet & Network
Japan's electricity voltage is 100V A.C. with a frequency of 60Hz in the Kyoto area.
Please note that plugs in Japan are a 2 flat-prong type (similar to U.S. plugs), so a plug adapter for personal appliances may be necessary if you require a 3-prong or round plug.
